Kansas City, January 20, 2003: K.C. Chang, Chairman and CEO, MIPRO Electronics Co. Ltd., Chiayi, Taiwan and Richard Looney, Chairman and CEO, Avlex Corporation, Shawnee Mission, Kansas announced today that MIPRO has appointed Avlex their exclusive distributor in the USA.
Avlex was one of MIPRO's first distributors and has offered MIPRO's VHF and UHF wireless systems as well as MIPRO's MA Series of portable PA systems in the USA for several years. MIPRO, with an expanding line-up of leading edge products and accessories, is positioned to become a major player in the world of professional wireless microphone and portable PA system market.
Richard Looney said, "We are pleased and honored to be selected to exclusively market and distribute the entire MIPRO family of wireless microphone systems and portable MA Series products." This includes a full range of the new MIPRO ACT (Automatic Channel Targeting) System models - the "World's First Color LCD and ACT-Function" system.
The ACT System is truly a revolutionary breakthrough in wireless technology featuring foolproof, interference-free channel set-up. By simply pressing the "Scan" button on the receiver, it automatically scans and locks on an interference-free channel. Pressing the "ACT" button programs the transmitter to the same channel, assuring error-free and convenient set-up of the system. These user-friendly products range from the entry-level ACT-707SE/DE model through the high performance ACT-707S/D to the PC-controlled ACT-707 wireless system, ideal for larger applications when many systems need to operate together.
Mr. Chang stated that MIPRO and Avlex would also be introducing the new MA-101ACT PA System – the "ideal wireless system for classrooms, lectures, churches, etc." A single MT-101ACT personal multifunction transmitter can operate multiple MA-101ACT wireless amplifiers in various locations simply by the touch of a button.
