If your wireless microphone is not a MIPRO

It may be illegal after June 12th!

Those in the industry have known this was coming for a long time.

· January 1998            FCC reallocated the 746-806 MHz band from TV to other services.

· February 1998          FCC lowered the upper end of the TV spectrum to 698 MHz.

· December 2001        FCC reallocated the 698-746 MHz band from TV to other services.

· January 2010            FCC prohibited the operation of wireless microphones in the 700 band (698-806 MHz)

                                           after June 12, 2010.

When Avlex began marketing Mipro wireless microphones in 1999, we made a conscious

decision to not sell products operating in the soon to be prohibited 698-806 MHz range.

Users of Mipro wireless microphone products sold by Avlex in the USA Market

are not impacted by the FCC ruling prohibiting wireless systems that operate on

frequencies between 698 and 806 MHz after June 12, 2010!

The FCC has compiled a list of affected models that may be viewed at:

www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones/manufacturers.html
